“Somehow people must think that we’re not going to catch them engaged in illegal activity at 2 a.m. in the morning,” Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Shirley Miller wrote in a facebook post about the arrest. “Just because most are sleeping — our sheriff’s station is ALWAYS awake.”
Deputies spotted the vehicle while patrolling in Stevenson Ranch, in a parking lot “where they shouldn’t have been parked,” according to Miller.
“The deputies made contact with the man and discovered he had a $75K warrant for his arrest,” she said. “He also had methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia in his possession.”
The man, who was not identified by Sheriff’s officials, was arrested and booked on narcotics charges.
