The female adults who were arrested ranged in age from 47 to 56 years old and were from Alhambra, Baldwin Park and Monterey Park.
The Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Station Licensing Detail, Santa Clarita City Code Enforcement along with deputies from Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station participated in the operation, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“During the operation, three female adults were arrested on prostitution charges after they solicited sex for money from undercover Sheriff’s detectives,” Miller said. “A total of five businesses were checked. The violations occurred at three businesses, the other two were found to be in compliance.”
The locations where the women were arrested took place in the 23300 block of Valencia Boulevard, the 25000 block of Peachland Avenue and the 19900 block of Soledad Canyon Road.

Why not post the name of the businesses?
Why not Google the addresses that were published?
Once doing so, the biz name is irrelevent when you have the address.
They posted the addresses which is even better. Does the name really matter? I’m sure it’s just a building with a “massage” sign. Name is irrelevent.
23300 Valencia Blvd. The only massage parlor in that block is “Relax Asia Massage” (next to Harbor Freight and Margaritas Grill)
25000 Peachland Ave. The only massage joint in this black is “Lulu Massage” (next to Smart & Final)
19900 Soledad Ave. Looks like “Eternity Day Spa” (corner of Langside)

Why was the human trafficking task force being used? Were these women being forced to work as prostitutes? Do they need to be certified to give massages?
It’s more that they went beyond a massage to performing sexual acts for money, they were likely certified
Yeah, good for if a women makes money rather than be lied to and used. And I love how they wait til there’s no customers ( men ) in there to arrest…probably their buddies go there.
Because many “working girls” indeed ARE being forced into doing this yes. The others are doing it by choice as it’s no different than being used for sex which most women are anyway since 60% of men are cheating. May as well get paid.
Such dangerous people to society! I’m glad an entire task force spend a whole night wasting funds on something like this, complete disregard for the true epidemics in our neighborhood.
God forbid women make money rather than be used.
People need release, not everyone can get it home. The women were 47-56, not some sort of sex trafficking operation. Sound like a victimless crime to me.
Stupid waste of law enforcement resources.
Why is the Human Trafficking Task Force working simple prostitution violations. This is a misuse of their resources. There is no information that these women were trafficked. They Task Force could have been asked why they were doing these inspections.
5 places checked, 3 places were brothels. Expand that ratio to the how many massage parlors there are in the SCV?
Wow! Prostitution is not a victimless crime. Thank you, Law Enforcement and Louie Diaz for bringing this to light. The majority paying property taxes in this City really don’t want brothels opening up right next to our grocery stores or anywhere else in this country. Please ignore the clueless commenting negatively as they most likely are the ones with “priors” who obviously lack wisdom and whose girlfriends and grandmothers were arrested.
