Santa Clarita sheriff’s deputies responded to a possible burglary call at the 29000 block of Avenue Sherman early Monday morning.
Deputies received a call shortly after 7 a.m., and were joined on scene by the Special Enforcement Bureau’s (SEB) armored transport and a K-9 unit.
“Well, the employees of the business showed up this morning to a ‘hole’ in the wall into their building, with a van running outside,” said Tom Meadows, the president of Big Fish Audio, a nearby business. “So they immediately called the police because it looked like a burglary.”

Upon arrival, officers discovered a hole had been knocked through the wall of a business warehouse, a vehicle running closely nearby but no site of the intruder, according to eyewitnesses.
“At the rear of the building, there was a roll up door with a small hole cut into it that is believed to have been used for in-and-out access,” said Sgt. Duarte of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Department. “Outside the door, we found a van with stolen items in the back.”
A K-9 unit was utilized by officers in order to either flush out or search one building, but the unit was unable to locate a suspect. Following the use of the dog, a SWAT (SEB) team entered the facility; but they, too, returned empty-handed.
“Deputies did not find a suspect, and no one has been taken into custody at this time,” said Duarte.
The burglary appears to have been an attempt to steal computer parts from the computer company’s warehouse.
“Santa Clarita detectives will be treating this as an ongoing case,” said Duarte, “and will move forward to determine if there are any leads.”

If the Deputies responded during the eclipse and the call came in at 7:00 am the the response time is over two hours. Caleb doesn’t have a headline that has anything to do with the story. It’s a good thing he is college educated. I wonder how stupid he would look if he wasn’t.
