A road rage incident on Highway 14 Thursday afternoon, ended with a weapon being drawn on the side of the road, said officials.

The call first reported around 3:00 p.m., started as a report of road rage when a suspect followed a vehicle off the highway and pulled out the weapon — which turned out to be a “BB gun.”
“The incident turned into a verbal dispute on the side of the road,” said Lt. Leo Bauer of the SCV Sheriff’s Station. “A weapon was pulled, and one person was arrested.”
After investigation, the weapon was found to be a BB gun, said Bauer.
One person was arrested as a result of the road rage incident on Silver Oak Lane near Oak Canyon Road in Canyon Country.
No shots were fired and no one was reportedly injured in the incident.
The suspect was described as an 18-year-old male, said Sheriff’s officials.
The charges are unknown at this time, the suspect is still being processed at the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station as of Thursday evening.
