John Woods, 25, and Zoe Hollenbeck, 20, were arrested Monday shortly before 8 p.m., according to arrest records. Both face felony charges of kidnapping.
“This is an active investigation,” said Lt. Ignacio Somoano with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Investigators are still looking into the incident, he said, but officials believe the pair knew the victim.

Woods is an unemployed Saugus resident, officials said. Hollenbeck lives in Castaic and is employed as a cleaner.
Bail was set at $100,000 for Woods, and $101,000 for Hollenbeck.
Both are scheduled to appear at the San Fernando Courthouse Wednesday for an arraignment hearing.

would be nice if the article specified if the person being kidnapped was a child or adult.
Very weird. I looked them up on Facebook. They’re a couple with a small child.
This allegedly involved their child… grandma called police due to a failure to protect by the mom from substance abusing dad.
That’s completely false!
It would be better not to even publish this article…it leaves too many questions unanswered: When did the kidnapping take place? How long was the victim held? Where did it take place? What was the motivation of the kidnappers? Who did they kidnap? How did they find the kidnappers? What is the relationship of the two kidnappers? Where was the victim finally found? Why was one kidnapper’s bail $1,000 more than the other’s? At time it seems as though there is absolutely no quality control or professionalism on this site. This Valley has a population of over 200,000. Any news outlet here should be doing better than this.
Excellent points Dan. I hope they start to do more than just scratch the surface.
Thank you for saying it Dan. Many of the stories are like this.
The charges are dropped and it had nothing by to do with their child
