Sheriff’s Department officials conducted a series of compliance checks in Santa Clarita at three separate locations. Three arrests were made for misdemeanor solicitation charges, according to officials.

Witnesses reported police activity to KHTS at around 4:45 p.m. at a massage parlor on the 23600 block of Newhall Avenue. There was also activity seen at the 18400 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The three locations inspected were: Nikki Massage, (23600 Newhall Ave); The Dream Spa (23200 Lyons Ave); and Asia Massage (18400 Bouquet Canyon Road).

The operation was part of a series of inspections with inspectors from the City of Santa Clarita and investigators from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) to conduct investigations at three Santa Clarita massage businesses.

The investigations, which included agents operating in an undercover capacity, were initiated in response to complaints from the community that commercial sex acts were being committed at some of the massage businesses.

At each of the three locations deputies, posing as customers, were solicited by employees of the massage parlors to exchange money for sex acts.  During Tuesday’s operation, three adult females (one suspect from each location) were arrested.

Inspectors from the City of Santa Clarita inspected the locations for building code violations. Investigators from the State EDD reviewed the businesses for compliance with State employment regulations. Task Force members checked the businesses for indicators related to either sex or labor trafficking.

The comprehensive investigation is ongoing.

The LA Regional Human Trafficking Task Force brings together systems and disciplines to address the victim’s needs through a victim centered, trauma informed approach.  The task force employs a regionalized strategy that crosses jurisdictional boundaries to identify and rescue victims while aggressively pursuing traffickers and buyers.

  1. Well done deputies, we appreciate your cleaning up this disgusting business. Thank you for your work!

    • Let’s be sure that the above responder, L.D., is stating that “this disgusting business” is directed at the individuals arrested &/or the businesses they work at or for, NOT the Massage business as an industry which has very reputable & ethical professionals by & large.

    • If a doctor kills a patient, are all doctors killers? Generalizing and pointing fingers at everyone and anything you don’t like is not only wrong but it’s discrimination.

  2. Maybe they should checkout the foot massage business in Granary Square, seems strange that you can’t see in the business and not many people go in.

    • It is reputable. My husband and I get massages there regularly.

      • The Happy Foot Massage place in Granary Square is dangerous.
They bruised my kidney and I was in pain for 3 weeks.
They would give me my $ back and snowed me with Asian language. Owner Mr. Lee speaks no English and did not respond d to letters sent to him. BBB did not get them to refund money.
BEWARE of Happy Foot in Granary Square.
Very poor service. These people don’t even speak english.

  3. This is scary it makes me want to go with my kids or little brother everytime they say they are going out to get a massage now…

  4. Swallace why would a foot massage spa be touching your kidney, they should only touch your feet.
Ms.f , maybe your kids and little brother should come with you next time you get your Gyn exam.
Susan, more than half the cars in SCV have very dark windows that you can’t see inside, what are they doing, watching kiddie porn?
