Santa Clarita Sheriff Deputies Release Crime Reports, Robbery Reported In Broad Daylight

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies have released the crime reports for the week of June 20 through June 26.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are seeking a man wanted for allegedly assaulting a neighbor who confronted him about allegedly reckless driving.

Two suspects were arrested in Canyon Country Sunday night after allegedly leaving Home Depot with a shopping cart full of stolen merchandise, reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with store security before fleeing in a stolen vehicle, officials said.

Deputies are seeking a robbery suspect after a Canyon Country check-cashing store was robbed in broad daylight Tuesday, officials said.

Petty Theft-19100 block of Golden Valley Road

The suspect was arrested by loss prevention officers. All the stolen items were returned to “Target.”

GTA-Dolan Way/Sierra Highway, Cyn.

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s Gold Dodge Stratus from the location.

Grand Theft-17000 block of Canvas Street

An unknown suspect stole the tailgate off the victim’s Gray 2015 Chevy Silverado.

An unknown suspect stole the victim’s green 1997 Honda Accord from the location.

Robbery- 18500 block of Soledad Canyon Rd

The victim stated while walking into a nearby mobile home park, he was pushed to the ground, kicked and punched, and had his wallet taken from his pocket.  The suspect then ran away and out of view.

Vehicle Burglary- 17800 block of Beneda Ln

Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s locked camper shell to his vehicle and stole 24 different pieces of work equipment.

Grand Theft Auto- 19100 block of Avenue of the Oaks

Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the above location.

Robbery- 20600 block of Golden Triangle Road

Two suspects entered a business and stole numerous items from within.  As they were leaving, employees at the location attempted to detain the suspects and sparked a small altercation over the stolen items.  The suspects fled in a vehicle and were later stopped and arrested by deputy personnel.

A female adult went into the location and punched the victim several times to her head and face.  The suspect then left the location in an unknown direction.

Burglary (Attempt) – 32600 Ridge Top Lane

Person(s) unknown removed a window screen, then attempted to pry open a window at the location.  The suspect did not make entry into the location.

Grand Theft – 31600 Castaic Road

Person(s) unknown stole several rolls of copper wire (valued at $5,677.00) which were strapped to the trailer of his vehicle.

Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s unlocked vehicle which was parked in the parking lot of the complex.

Burglary (Vehicle) – 25200 Belleza Court

Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a gift card, shoes, sunglasses, and $190.00 in U.S. currency.  Total loss was $1,000.00.  The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the victim’s home.  The victim stated his vehicle was locked.  There were no sign of forced entry.  (16-08245)
