The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s department is asking residents for help in locating a local suspect, wanted for an alleged attempted stabbing, according to Sheriff’s officials.

On April 7 2015, suspect Victor Granados, a 24-year-old, who is 5’ 10” and 250 lbs, got into a verbal dispute with a family member which soon escalated into the suspect trying to stab the family member with a knife before being restrained, according to Sheriff’s officials.
Upon learning that deputies were responding, the suspect vowed that he would come back and kill the victim, according to Sheriff’s officials. The weapon used was recovered at the scene. The suspect lives in the area of Canyon Country.
Anyone with information to the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station or Detective Barretto at (661) 255-1121, according to Sheriff’s officials.
