Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Canyon Country man who allegedly shot at an occupied vehicle back in April, officials said Monday.

Timothy Lee Mosandl, of Canyon Country, was arrested shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday and was charged with one felony count of shooting at an occupied vehicle, according to officials.
“On April 11, 2018, just after midnight, a shooting occurred on the 22400 block of Lemon Street in Santa Clarita,” said Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Lt. Ignacio Somoano. “Several shots were fired at an occupied vehicle and at a parked vehicle.”
After detectives interviewed several people and served two search warrants over the course of the investigation, Mosandl was identified as the suspect, according to officials.
“On May 5, 2018, patrol deputies contacted suspect Mosandl while at a disturbance call,” said Somoano.
Mosandl was arrested in Saugus and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. His bail was set at $250,000 according to arrest records.
