Deputies were called to the 31200 block of Delwood Street, Val Verde after someone reported seeing a female Hispanic woman “casing cars, and trying the handles to see if they were unlocked,” according to Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“When the caller went outside, the female suspect took off running to a RV that was parked on a nearby street,” said Miller in a Facebook post on Friday.

Responding deputies also noted the RV when they arrived on scene, and while approaching the vehicle, spotted a male adult standing next to it.

“As they approached him, and inquired if there was a female Hispanic inside the RV, the man started acting very nervous,” said Miller. “He confessed to deputies that he ‘might have a warrant out for his arrest.’”

Deputies checked the system, and confirmed that the transient man was, in fact, telling the truth.

“The man had two warrants in the system for narcotics, totaling $100,000,” continued Miller. “The female adult came out of the RV (and) after obtaining her name, deputies found out she also had a warrant out for her arrest in the amount of $125,000.”

Additionally, after a search of the RV, deputies discovered methamphetamine which the male adult said was his, according to officials.

Bison is being held in lieu of $101,000 bail, according to county records. His first court date is scheduled for Jan. 2, 2018.

Castro is being held in lieu of $125,000 bail, according to county records. Her first court date has not yet been scheduled.
