“She pleaded no contest to 2nd degree murder,” said Ricardo Santiago, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

However, Greenback is scheduled to return to court on November 30 to determine her sanity at the time of the killing, according to officials.

Jessica Greenback plead no contest to a murder that was committed on the 18000 block of Danielson Street in Canyon Country, said Los Angeles County District Attorney officials.

Greenback allegedly shot her 28-year-old brother and her father in the home they shared.

“She killed her brother and shot her dad, and she tried to kill another individual in the house, but he was not hurt,” said Lt. John Corina of the Homicide Bureau of the Sheriff’s Department, in a previous KHTS article.

Greenback’s father was grazed by a bullet, according to officials.

A third person, James Gorman, was allegedly shot at by Jessica Greenback, but not injured.

Johnnie Greenback, the suspect’s brother, died at a local hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head at the Danielson home.
