Temple Station deputies are keeping a memorial for their colleague, Deputy David March, a Saugus man who was killed in the line of duty.
“Basically, they stand watch over his memorial where the shooting occurred,” said Sgt. John Carter, who was a deputy who worked with March, in a previous interview. “He was a great guy, a great deputy and we all miss him.”
Deputies at the Temple station also where their long-sleeve class-A, formal uniform in remembrance, Carter said, while keeping a 24-hour watch that started at midnight Tuesday.
