At least four people were detained at gunpoint Tuesday evening by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon investigation.

Deputies detained multiple suspects at gunpoint in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon near Sandy Drive in Canyon Country, according to Sheriff’s officials. 

Deputies are still at the scene as of 7:15 p.m. No additional details were provided by Sheriff’s officials.
