If only our city council would devote resources to clean up this neighborhood, instead of pouring millions of dollars into downtown, just one mile away.
The apartments in this area have been havens for criminals for years, and the city just sits idle. The apartments these people came from have had a gang murder and an officer involved shooting in the past couple of years, and the city just sits idle.
Our community hosts young families, with very young children. It is too bad your photographer did not capture the young woman on a walk with her, must be two year old, among all the police cars.
Can someone please tell me why your elected officials will not lift a finger to clean up our neighborhood?
Still prefer a pair of shoes being thrown into a Bush.
Hope the serial number visible. Glad no one hurt.
Crazy – my husband and I moved out of these apartments in February. We loved our place, were there for 7 years. We now live in Stevenson Ranch, and even though we didn’t feel unsafe in Newhall, realize we feel much safer where we are now. Sad to hear our old neighborhood is having to cope with events such as this.
