A Castaic resident called the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station after witnessing two people enter a neighbor’s home and walk out with the television around 1:30 p.m., said Lt. Rob Hahnlein.
“Two people went into the neighbor’s house and he knew that they were not home,” Hahnlein said. “As he walked over there to confront them, they were carrying a TV. They set the TV down and scrambled to a white vehicle.”

A unit on patrol at Parker Road and Tobiah Place pulled over the vehicle on a traffic violation shortly after the incident.
“As the call came out, they realized they had the car used in the burglary,” Hahnlein said.
The driver, who was the only person in the car at the time, was arrested while the other two suspects remained outstanding.
Shortly after the first arrest, the other two suspects were found and arrested by Sheriff’s Station deputies.
