Jose Terran, 30, and Juan Perez, 28, both of Val Verde, were arrested at their home on the 30800 block of San Martinez Road.

“A deputy responded to a location because a citizen saw someone stripping down a vehicle there,” said Lt. Brenda Cambra of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “When deputies arrived, they found a Honda Accord, which had been stripped and was in the system as a stolen vehicle in the (LAPD-Van Nuys division).”

Terran was accused of owning and operating a chop shop, and Perez was arrested for the same charge, officials said.

A third suspect, whose identity was not released, is being held on charges of drug possession and receiving stolen property.

Terran  pleaded no contest to a possession of a controlled substance charge in October 2013, according to a District Attorney’s Office spokesman.

Terran is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

  1. This is what happens when you let the inmates run their own asylum. I hope CATC succeeds in their plans to bulldoze that disgusting little town and fill it with rocks and garbage… Well more garbage haha. I’m so glad I’m part of it’s downfall.

    • Well, Vanessa, thanks for making it abundantly clear whose side you were on all along. The duplicity was apparent from the beginning, but now we can add petty and vindictive. Sheesh. I am truly sorry for whatever happened growing up to make you the person you are today, but unless you can work through those issues, please don’t ever have children.
It is a pleasure to have never met you,
      Mark

      • I bet this woman lights small animals on fire and abuses and bully’s little children, and all with an uncontrollable evil laugh. She seems to have some pretty dark issues and should be in the asylum herself.

  2. The Vanessa that posted earlier, is not, cannot be Vanessa Brookeman. Believe me, I have been attacked by Vanessa Brookeman many times. This is something she would not do. I am sure of that. It is someone trying to get everyone upset. I will not join in this attack of Mrs. Brookeman, If she were to do it, she would use her last name along with her picture.

Nice try, but this time easy to see through.

  3. “plans to bulldoze that disgusting little town”….What the hell plans are THOSE?

  4. You know what they say it takes one to know one. In this case though I think she is just projecting her own issues on others. Was there a downfall I was unaware of?

  5. First of all, next time get the facts right before publishing a cox and bull story such as this. You need to remove Juan Perez from being one of the people arrested. He was not there that night, nor was he detained for such an allegation. ALL CHOP SHOP CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED. Jose, the only originally charged with this is being detained solely for a probation violation. AND THERE WERE NO CONCERNED CITIZENS SEEING SUCH A THING. IT ENDED BEING THEIR MOTHER AND SISTER, MAYRA PEREZ WHO CALLED THE COPS STATING THIS FALSE POLICE REPORT.
