Whether or not the trailer was set ablaze by those who allegedly stole it is not known and there are no leads that would identify the suspect or suspects, said the LASD Arson Unit’s lead detective on the case, Greg Everett.
The trailer was stolen from Agua Dulce Storage in Agua Dulce at around 3:00 a.m. Friday July 31st, according to the trailer’s owner.
There are no witnesses to the robbery but there is video camera footage of the suspects entering the facility in a pick-up truck and leaving with the trailer, according to the trailer’s owner.
The trailer was found burning on the 22800 block of Sierra Highway at approximately 8:45 a.m. Friday, July 31st.
The origin of the fire came from the front of the trailer, Everett said.

Can you say: Really bad insurance job!
Sorry Chris, unfortunately not a bad insurance job. My trailer was stolen at the same storage yard, same week, same scenario and mine has not been set ablaze or been found. Not a good situation for many of us having either cars or RV’s stolen there recently. Something doesn’t seem right though.
