The victim sustained injuries, but declined to receive any medical treatments, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Lt. Leo Bauer said. He confirmed the incident took place in the 24000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway.
“A 23-year-old female was battered by her boyfriend,” Bauer said. “The victim is being very uncooperative with us and will not give us the suspect’s name.”
Because the victim sustained physical injuries, the incident is being treated as a felony domestic violence investigation, Bauer said.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, according to Sheriff’s officials. The suspect fled on foot around noon, Bauer said.
