The burglars drove a pickup truck through the glass front doors of the popular local ice rink and stole the business’ ATM, while the business was closed Sunday.

The robbery took place in the early morning hours Sunday, deputies responded Sunday morning, but did not have the exact time of the incident. Deputies suspect it happened between midnight and 5 a.m.

The ATM appeared to be the only item stolen in the burglary, officials said.

Sheriff’s Station officials have not identified a suspect at this time. The amount that was stolen was not immediately available.

  1. Please learn the difference between a robbery and a burglary… You are printing a news article that many people are reading, and you’re passing misinformation onto your viewers…
If you need to know what the definition of each are, please refer to the California penal code, specifically sections 211PC and 459 PC.

  2. A “brazen break-in attempt”?! Sounds like a brazen break-in success!
