Valencia Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A Valencia man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s mother and roommate early last week was charged Friday with attempted murder.

Cameron Reed Hansen, 29, faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of injuring his ex-girlfriend.

According to Los Angeles County Attorney’s Office officials, Hansen pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on April 9.

The crime occurred on March 3 when Hansen went to ex-girlfriend’s home Burbank home where he allegedly attacked and bit her.

BPD officers responded to the 700 block of Roselli Street around 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release.

When officers arrived, they found three female victims who were 67 years old, 41 years old and 21 years old, the report said. Two victims were suffering from stab wounds and a third was physically assaulted.

According to prosecutors, the victims mother and roommate tried to help but when Hansen allegedly stabbed both women repeatedly.

Both women were taken to a local hospital in critical, but stable, condition.

Hansen’s bail is set at $2 million and faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison, if convicted.

The case is still under investigation by the Burbank Police Department.
