Santa Clarita Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to the scene, and using the information provided by the witnesses, began looking in the area for the suspect’s vehicle. One of the deputies found a vehicle matching the suspect’s description parked on Guadilamar Drive, a street just off of Seco Canyon Road.

The deputy found that the vehicle was unoccupied. With the assistance of a sergeant and another deputy, door knocks were conducted at nearby residences. At one of the homes, deputies successfully located the suspect.

While at the location, deputies also observed several stolen checks that were forged by the suspect. Deputies arrested the suspect Tiffany Thomas, 31, of Santa Clarita on felony vandalism and forgery charges.
