Cross Valley Connector Continues To Improve Traffic Flow

khts_citymatters_scvlogoThe Cross Valley Connector segment opened in March continues to reduce traffic volumes and accidents in the vicinity of the Bouquet Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road intersection.  The City’s Intelligent Transportation System, tracking traffic flow at that intersection, shows a 40% reduction in vehicles.

“The Cross Valley Connector has opened up a new way to travel for residents across the Valley and has expedited commute times as well as reduced volume at and near the Bouquet Junction,” commented Mayor Laurene Weste.  “Seeing a reduction in traffic accidents as well is definitely a bonus,” she added.
