AVM Technologies, Inc. Branches into Document and Data Destruction
Responding to the growing threat of identity theft, AVM Technologies, Inc. has expanded its business services to a new division, Confidential Data Destruction Company (CDDC).
CDDC provides four primary services: scheduled container pick-up, purge service, witnessed destruction and customer drop-off. They also offer on-site document destruction. CDDC employees pick up containers on a scheduled or on-call basis, and securely transport the material to our mobile destruction truck, where it is immediately pulverized. It is especially convenient for firms that need to personally witness destruction of documents. CDDC addresses the needs of individuals and home-based businesses that have years of document storage and can arrange for an on site purge or drop-off to eliminate unneeded material and protect confidential information.
[view:node_ad=5]“Virtually every business has a need for these services” says Steve Sturgeon, President of CDDC. From their customer information, customer credit card data, corporate financial information, employee records and payroll records are among the documents that now, more than ever, businesses must take the appropriate steps to safeguard information. These clients collect, handle and store confidential, private and legally protected information about their customers and it is imperative that this information be protected at all costs and it is their responsibility to do so. CDDC can help minimize the risk of criminal and civil litigation, fines and penalties that result from the inadvertent disclosure of confidential information.
“Many individuals accumulate a year’s worth of personal documents, including bank statements, credit card statements and bank returns. All of these documents posses information for identity theft” says Sturgeon. “CDDC can service these clients at their site or they can bring their shredding to us for destruction.”
