When contacted inside the store, the suspects ignored the deputies orders and refused to cooperate. Additional deputies were called in and all the individuals were detained. Taken into custody were Marco Valencia, 19, of Canyon Country; Jesus Bastian, 18, of Saugus and Newhall residents Filimon Ramirez, 20, Jacob Cecena, 21, Jaime Infante, 22, Cerron Bravo, 25, Armando Hernandez, 18 and Johnny Martinez, 18. The men were all booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale and participating in a criminal street gang. They also face potential misdemeanor charges of loitering by criminal street gangs. They are each being held in lieu of $30,000 bail pending future court proceedings.
