Deputies Detain Three Possible Castaic Burglary Suspects

After a high speed chase on the Interstate 5 between Castaic and Santa Clarita, deputies have detained three suspects, one female and two males, according to Lt. Tom Bryski.

The suspects exited the freeway at Valencia Boulevard, where they abandoned their vehicle.

One woman was detained, and the two men were found hiding under the cover of a spa in the backyard of a residence in Valencia, Bryski said.

ORIGINAL STORY

Deputies are investigating a possible burglary, after a suspect entered the backyard of a home on June Rose Court in Castaic, and the homeowner called 911, according to Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station officials.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Parks Bureau is in pursuit on the southbound Interstate 5.

The suspect was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima rental vehicle.

Deputies are still trying to determine if a crime has occurred. Check back for details as they arrive.
