Sheriff’s deputies used a closed campus to rehearse their response if there was a terrorist threat or shooter at one of our local schools. Thursday night they were at West Ranch High School.
These exercises take place annually on different campuses in the SCV.
About 50 sheriff’s deputies, reserves and Explorers participated, along with a dozen “actors” – teenage volunteers who were “victims.”
