Details On The I-5 Ramp Widening Project

Road construction will force the closure of select on and off-ramps.

[view:node_ad=5]For the majority of December, a road widening project at the I-5 and Magic Mountain Parkway will force the closure of the southbound I-5 off-ramp and the northbound I-5 on-ramp on varying dates.

Here’s the complete schedule:

The southbound I-5 off-ramp at Magic Mountain Parkway is closed now, and will not re-open until January 5th.

The northbound I-5 on-ramp at Magic Mountain Parkway will close December 15th and will not re-open until January 5th.

Travelers should plan to use one of the following detours while the closure is in effect:

Southbound traffic should exit the I-5 at Rye Canyon or Valencia Blvd and use the Old Road to access Magic Mountain Parkway.

Northbound motorists should either enter the freeway at Valencia Blvd or take the Old Road northbound, turn left on Henry Mayo Dr., right on Highway 126 and use the northbound I-5 on-ramps.
