Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Lancaster woman Monday, according to police reports.

The victim has been identified as Lidia Castillo, 45, said a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Around 9 p.m. on June 23, detectives were called to the 2500 block of East Avenue I in Lancaster by the victim’s relatives.
Last night the victim’s relatives went to the location to check on her welfare. She had not been heard from since June 19. Family members found the victim deceased on scene.
Detectives have learned that the victim was living with her boyfriend. The victim’s boyfriend and her vehicle are missing. The vehicle has been identified as a red 2007 four-door Chevy Impala with a Nevada license plate no. 805 YBH.
Detectives are attempting to locate both the car and the victim’s boyfriend.
Doctors at the Coroner’s Office have not yet conducted an examination.
