The vehicle is described as a 1990-1995 Ford Thunderbird, dark, possibly maroon in color. There will be damage to the front hood and windshield of the car.

On Wednesday, Diamond was released when the District Attorney’s office determined that there was insufficient evidence to hold him. Investigators told KHTS that the case is still open and Diamond is considered a person of interest.

Diamond is a musician and during his adolescence, played the character Young Simba in a traveling company of Disney’s “The Lion King” that performed at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. He attended Hart High School and performed with their show choir before graduating in 2007.

Anyone with information as to the car’s location or about the accident itself is asked to call LAPD Traffic Officer Martinez at (818) 644-8032.
