Providence Saint Joseph Neuroscience Institute Initiative Underway

Dick Clark, world -renowned entertainment icon, and his wife Kari will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs for Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center’s $11 million initiative to create a state-of-the-art neuroscience facility. The treatment of stroke will be a cornerstone of the new Providence Saint Joseph Neuroscience Institute. It will be the only facility of its kind in the San Fernando Valley and one of only two in Los Angeles County.
 
The Clarks believe that it is time for a comprehensive Neuroscience Institute at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center … the logical next step .
 
Providence Saint Joseph currently treats almost 1,500 neurologically impaired inpatients annually. Approximately 550 are stroke victims like Mr. Clark.

All the doctors, the therapists and the nursing staff were absolutely outstanding.”
