DiPrimio To Leave Valencia Water Company

Bob_DiPrimioValencia Water Company announced today that Robert DiPrimio, President and General Manager, will leave the company effective August 2, to pursue another opportunity.

DiPrimio, a 17 year employee of Valencia Water Company, is widely credited with implementing state of the art infrastructure for the retail water company’s efficient delivery of water to its 30,000 customers as well as initiating advanced conservation methods for its service area.

“Bob DiPrimio has helped grow Valencia Water Company into a premier organization that delivers high quality water at reasonable prices to its customers. His leadership has kept Valencia Water Company in the forefront of conservation, quality and cost. The strong team of professionals at VWC is well- positioned to continue those efforts,” said Greg McWilliams, President, Newhall Land. “We thank him for his dedicated service and wish him well in his next position.”

DiPrimio is joining San Gabriel Valley Water Company, a large investor owned public water utility with operations in California and Arizona.

DiPrimio is also Valencia Water Company’s representative on Castaic Lake Water Agency’s Board of Directors. He will continue in that position until a replacement is determined.

Valencia Water Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Newhall Land and is regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. Its service area includes Valencia, Stevenson Ranch and portions of Castaic and Saugus.
