Two dirt bikers went for a ride when one of the bikes became disabled, and the other rode out of the area to get help… 

The stranded biker broke down in a desolate area of Sierra highway near the Rowher Flats Recreation Area.  When the second rider did not return, the Sheriff’s Station was notified and initiated Search and Rescue procedures.

The missing rider was located at about 2:00 a.m., uninjured, in heavy fog.  Apparently the rider was able to repair his bike but was unable to find his way out because of the reduced visibility.
