‘Discover YOUniversity’ At Sanctuary Church Offers Fun Summer Classes

There’s still time for a few more summer activities before school starts again. For children and their parents who would like to learn and have fun at the same time, the Sanctuary Church on Friendly Valley Parkway is offering the Discover YOUniversity, a workshop series from Monday, July 29 to Friday, Aug. 2.

Discover YOUniversityChildren ages 6-13 can register to attend a class, which will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for five nights. Subjects to choose from include drama, karate, art, soccer, cheerleading, animation, cooking, guitar and ceramics.

The classes are $50 per child and $35 for each additional children in the same family. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, parents can attend free classes on family budget and finances, ready preparedness, first aid and health.

Children must register to participate and once registered for a class, must attend the same one for the entire week.

To sign up, register online, by mail or in person at the Sanctuary’s Grow on the Go Resource Center. Make checks payable to “The Sanctuary” with “DiscoverYOU” in the memo line.
