Diversity Programs Continue Through The Holiday Season

khts_citymatters_scvlogoThe City of Santa Clarita continues its popular Season of Diversity program, designed to promote cultural understanding in Santa Clarita, in 2011 with events across the City.

 

At the theatrical presentation “The Whole World’s A-Talkin,” which will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 20 at Rio Norte Junior High School, attendees will hear collection of international folktales.

On January 23 the program “We Shall Overcome” – a musical theater, educational and historical journey through African and African-American music, will be presented at the Valencia Library.

Enjoy traditional Lunar New Year performances and Chinese dances at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 30 at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center.
