Do You Know What’s Happening In Your Valley?

This weekend in the Santa Clarita Valley promises to be filled with activities to kick-off the holiday season. Westfield Valencia Town Center is hosting its 10th annual Festival of Trees starting Friday, November 9 until Wednesday, November 21. In addition to elaborately decorated trees and gingerbread houses, the festival offers special events and crafts for kids. Admission is $6 per person 15 years and older, $4 per person seniors 65 and older, $3 per child ages 4 to 14 and free for ages 3 and under.
The city of Santa Clarita also plans to honor our veterans and active servicemen during Veteran’s Day on Sunday, November 11. The mayor and City Council will join the community at the Veteran’s Historical Plaza in Old Town Newhall at 11 a.m. for dedication, music and salutes.

This is just a taste of what is happening around town. For more information, make sure to check out “Top Things to Do This Weekend,” published every Wednesday on our website and in a free weekly email newsletter, which you can sign up for here.

If you’re planning something in our valley, KHTS would like to know about it. Send an email to newsroom@hometownstation.com, and we might feature your event in “Top Things” or send a photographer to capture moments for our “Around Town” photo gallery.
