Eighty-two campers from 17 different states will be taking part in this edition of the twice-yearly camp. California tops the list with 44 attendees. Walt Bentson from Cupertino, CA is attending his 37th camp.

Throughout the week, campers will receive first-hand instruction from Dodger stars of the past and will use the same training fields, batting cages and locker rooms as the current Dodgers and those aspiring to one day become Dodgers.  Daily activities include drills, batting practice and baseball games among campers, who are divided into six teams.  There are also nightly dinners, with awards presented to the top performers of the day.

Included in the illustrious list of instructors are Ralph Branca, Roger Craig, Tommy Davis, Carl Erskine, Burt Hooton, Clem Labine, Reggie Smith, Duke Snider and Steve Yeager. Former Dodger pitching coach and club executive Dave Wallace, along with former NL MVP Maury Wills & current Dodger broadcaster Rick Monday will also be on hand to participate in the week-long event.

Dodger minor league staff personnel who are serving as instructors are catching coordinator and former Dodger bullpen catcher Travis Barbary, Double-A Jacksonville Manager John Shoemaker, former Dodger minor league instructor Dann Bilardello, Rookie-level Ogden manager Juan Bustabad, Single-A Columbus coach Garey Ingram  and pitching coordinator Marty Reed.  The trainers for the camp are Stan Johnston, Yosuke "Possum" Nakajima and Carlos Olivas.  Dutch Rennert will be the Chief Umpire and the Camp Director is Guy Wellman.
