Dodgers Spring Training Tickets Go On Sale

Ticket prices at the brand new Cactus League facility already
available.

Training schedule at Camelback Ranch, Glendale
went on sale over the weekend.

 

Ticket prices begin at $8 and can be purchased by calling
866-DODGERS or online at dodgers.com.

 

The Dodgers, who next month will open their state-of-the-art
complex with the Chicago White Sox, will play 17 games in all at Camelback Ranch,
including two as the visiting team against Chicago

 

The 13,000 seat ballpark features 88 percent of the ticket
prices at $30 or less and 44 percent of all tickets available for $20 or
less.  Individual Dodgers home game
tickets range from $8-90 for 10 "regular" games and from $10-100 for five
"premier" games. 

Limited availability also remains for full season tickets
and mini plans, which have been on sale since late December. 

 

The Dodgers' and Chicago White Sox' joint venture at
Camelback Ranch offers 11 different seating location options on a single-game
basis:  Berm Seating, Baseline Reserved,
Bullpen Patio Area, Infield Box, Baseline Field Box, Premium Field Box, Suite
Party Deck, Dugout Field Box, Premium Dugout Field Box, Suites (all-inclusive),
and Home Plate Club (all-inclusive).

 

The Dodgers and White Sox will play each other four times
overall at Camelback Ranch including the March 1 home opener in a rematch of
the 1959 World Series.  Nine of the
Dodgers' 17 contests at Camelback Ranch fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

 

The Dodgers' home schedule also features five games against
National League West Division opponents and an exhibition game against an Asian
Qualifier for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. 
The defending National League Central Division Champion Chicago Cubs,
who the Dodgers swept 3-0 in the NL Division Series last year, will pay their
only visit to Camelback Ranch to play the Dodgers on St. Patrick's Day, March
17. 

 

The lone home night game will be a 7:05 p.m. contest on March 24 against the Seattle Mariners
and the final Spring Training home game at Camelback Ranch is slated for March
30 against the Oakland Athletics.

The main ballpark that the Dodgers and White Sox will share
at Camelback Ranch is the largest in the Cactus League.  The ballpark includes 3,000 lawn seats, 12
luxury suites, a party deck, and a unique center field rotunda entrance.

 

The 141-acre site is located on Camelback
Road just west of the Loop
101. The facility includes more than 118,000 square feet of Major and Minor
League clubhouse space, 13 full baseball fields, and three half-fields. The
site will feature walking trails, landscaped grounds, and an orange grove.
There will also be two ponds and a fully-stocked lake between the Dodgers and
White Sox facilities.

 

The Dodgers are moving into Camelback Ranch in Glendale
after spending the previous 61 years in Vero Beach
, Fla. as part of the Grapefruit League.
