The Dodgers win…again.
So far the Los Angeles club is off to a fiery start, and at 20-8 they hold the best record in baseball.
But even more notable is the Dodgers record at home. So far this year, the Dodgers have won all 12 of their home games, tying them with the 1911 Detroit Tigers for the longest home wining streak to start a year.
If they win tonight at Dodger stadium, the Dodgers will set the new record.
{mosimage}That feat may be entirely possible, as the Washington Nationals will face off against the Dodgers for two games beginning tonight. At 7-17, the Nationals currently have the worst record in baseball, although they were able to put up 10 runs in last night’s suspended game against the Houston Astros.
21-year-old Clayton Kershaw will pitch this evening for the Dodgers. Kershaw was stellar in 7 shut out innings last week against the Padres, although his record is 0-2 so far this season. He will face Daniel Cabrera for the Nationals, also 0-2.
You can witness history live tonight as the Dodger game will be broadcast on AM-1220 starting at 6:30 p.m.
