Man arrested Thanksgiving morning.

A 58 year-old Saugus man was arrested early Thanksgiving morning by deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Responding to a domestic violence call in the 28000 block of Mauch St. in Saugus just after 4:30 a.m., deputies were informed that Cedric Tombo was pointing a loaded shotgun at his wife and three teenage children, threatening to kill them.

After detaining Tombo without incident, deputies proceeded to confiscate nine guns from the home, including five assault weapons that had allegedly not been properly registered and therefore illegal to possess.

Tombo is being held on $50,000 bail and is due in court December 1.
