Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley will be holding a 40 hour domestic violence advocate certification training starting Sept. 13.

California state law requires that all volunteers working in the domestic violence field take a 40 hour certification training course in order to work with a domestic violence shelter or to provide counseling to victims of domestic violence.
Training will be held at Dilbeck Real Estate in Stevenson Ranch.
Training schedule is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost to attend certification training is $200.
