Domestic Violence Center Seeking Help In Meeting Family Holiday Requests

News-Christmas2The Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley has many families that need adopting this holiday season.

The Center has 21 families, ranging in one to five members that have yet to be adopted.   During a time when things are particularly difficult for everyone, these homes won’t see any gifts unless people open their hearts and try to help. Many of the requests from the families – including the children – are as simple as a warm coat or a pair of shoes.

Christmas is a time of rejoicing. Christmas is a time of sharing and giving to those less fortunate.  The Center hopes that the community will come forward and put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season and give a gift of peace to survivors of domestic violence this holiday season.

To help the Center with available families, call 661.259.8175.
