3 gang members arrested trying to pawn stolen property.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is citing teamwork as a major reason they have three burglars in custody.
Santa Clarita had suffered a string of burglaries that involved men knocking on doors of homes during the day. If someone answered the door, the suspects would ask for directions, or pretend to have approached the wrong house.
If no one answered, then the suspects would know that the house is empty and would force entry.
At that point, they would steal as many valuables as possible.
Last week in Palmdale, the suspects attempted to pawn some items that the shop clerk thought were stolen. When Antelope Valley Deputies responded, they arrested Parvin Tanner, Allen Brooks, and a 16 year old juvenile.
Investigation revealed that the property was stolen from homes in Santa Clarita earlier that day.
The men are part of an Antelope Valley Gang known as BOP.
The investigation is ongoing.
