Detectives looking for Jacob Rico found more than they bargained for Thursday morning when they knocked on his door in the 24000 block of Joshua Drive in the Tesoro del Valle tract.
Rico, 18, was wanted for suspicion of furnishing narcotics to a minor and having sex with a minor under the age of 18. He was arrested when he answered the door. Also at the home was another young adult and four minors who were not in school due to spring break.
According to Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Hershey, the minors were taken home to their mothers. The house, which Hershey said deputies described as “disheveled” was searched and a room dedicated to growing marijuana was found.
Rico was taken to the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station and booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, cultivation of marijuana, furnishing narcotics to minors and sex with a person under the age of 18.
