Community input about the preferred characteristics to be used in recruiting and selecting this person is desired. The Trustees are soliciting input to respond to the prompt: “What personal and professional qualities for an incoming superintendent will be a match for the Castaic Union School District?”
Peggy Lynch and Rich Thome of Leadership Associates were selected to advise the Board in this important process. They will be in the Castaic Union School District on Thursday, Oct. 15 and Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Individual input from members of the community, parents, employees and others interested in the district, is desired.
The community is invited to attend an open forum, which will be held at the Castaic Union School District office at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
One’s input may also be offered via fax, letter or email. Additionally, an online survey is available on the district’s website.
If one is unable to meet personally with the Board’s advisors, an email may sent. To speak by phone to either Peggy Lynch or Rich Thome, call (760) 771-4277.
