The timing of the trip, at the same time as Trump’s swearing-in weekend, offered a unique opportunity for SCVi students. “This year, they were honored to receive an extra special experience,” said Amber Raskin, cofounder of SCVi and iLead schools. “Not only did they have the chance to attend the inauguration with special tickets for the entire group from Congressman Steve Knight, they also received a special guided tour from him of the House Floor and the stage from which Friday’s ceremony took place.”

For the students, the exclusive tours capped off a week of visiting important national treasures such as the Smithsonian Museums, the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington Cemetery and more.
