The friends, who serve on Castaic Middle School’s ASB together as president and vice president, noted they were happy to find out they are both going to Castaic High School, because otherwise Potter would have gone to Valencia High and Keshishi would have gone to West Ranch High.
Both girls plan on continuing their ASB careers at Castaic High School and taking advantage of the school’s innovative College and Career Readiness program.
“I’m excited for that,” Potter said, noting she might try the program’s Nursing career pathway because her mom is a nurse. Keshishi, on the other hand, is interested in becoming a lawyer.
Potter and Keshishi are both planning to attend an event Friday to celebrate the one-year countdown to Castaic High School’s grand opening.
