“Last year’s first-time attendees described the event as one of the Santa Clarita Valley’s best kept fundraising secrets,” said Amy Daniels, executive director of the WiSH Foundation. “Everyone who came last year had an amazing time, and when you combine that with an opportunity to support our local students, it’s a great event for the entire community.”

The show will start Saturday, March 14, at 7 p.m. at Golden Valley High School on the stage of the school’s theater.

TV stars from shows like “So You Think You Can Dance”  and “Dancing with the Stars” will be on hand to entertain at Golden Valley High School’s Auditorium in a benefit performance, according to the event’s website.

Scheduled to be there are Fik-Shun, Rudy Abreu, Will Thomas, Ashley Galvan and Julz Tocker, among others.

The WiSH Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises money to support education in the Santa Clarita Valley’s William S. Hart Union High School District, a seventh- to 12th-grade public school district with more than 22,000 students.

The money raised heads directly into Santa Clarita Valley classrooms in a variety of forms, Daniels said.

“It helps pay for programs and initiatives that are not covered by tax dollars,” she said, mentioning classroom equipment, STEM needs and other needs that teachers identify.

“We get WiSHlists from educators,” Daniels said, “and we do our best to make sure every dollar gets right to the classroom where it’s need it most.”

Tickets are $25 for adults, and $20 for students, active military and senior tickets.
