The event offered students the opportunity to learn more about different technical schools, universities, and military options to possibly enroll in or join after graduation. With about 100 to 120 groups of school and military representatives there to inform guests, students were able to walk away learning something about a new school or work opportunity.
“We estimated about 4,000 students and their families to be in attendance for the event,” said Dave Caldwell, district spokesman. “Every year, we’ve seen attendance of the event grow and grow.”

Both the fair and workshops have gone on to prove successful for many current and past students.
“We had a student who attended the fair years ago go on and discover the perfect school for them,” Caldwell said. “That student is currently attending that school and it continues to be a perfect fit for them.”
Offering many resources and college and career opportunities, the Hart district continues to invite students and their families to prepare for the future.
