According to the Sunday email, the school would reopen on Monday for regularly scheduled classes.
“The safety of our students and staff remains our greatest priority and updates will follow if more information becomes available,” officials said.
This is not the first Santa Clarita school to have received threats of violence in recent months.
In the months following the the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, five Santa Clarita Valley schools — SCVi, West Ranch, Saugus, Golden Valley and Arroyo Seco — had all individually received reports of potential violence against their campuses.
More recently, on May 4, Canyon High officials were made aware of a threat that was made against the school through a text message, but officials determined the threat to be non-credible.
No arrests have been made in connection to Sunday’s threat against Valencia High School.
