On Thursday May 17, the Wine on the Roof event will be held on the rooftop of the Macy’s parking garage at Westfield Valencia Town Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Guests will be able to enjoy beautiful lighting, music, photo opportunities and more. All benefits from the event are set to go to the WiSH Education Foundation, according to officials.

As a “sister event” to the popular Cocktails on the Roof, the WiSH Foundation has teamed up with Eve Bushman of Eve’s Wine 101, and Marlee Lauffer, President of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation, for Wine on the Roof, according to district officials.

The WiSH Foundation is also working with Steve Lemley as a co-host for the event. Lemley is a well-respected winemaker from the Santa Clarita Valley that co-owns the SCV Custom Crush Services. He is set to curate the wines from his local facility that houses over twenty different wineries, the majority of which will be making their debut at the event.

The event is scheduled to have winemakers seated throughout the venue to allow for interesting and knowledgeable discourse, according to a press release regarding the event.

Wine on the Roof has a distinctive layout to allow for camaraderie and conversation, treating guests to a multi-course dinner. Because the event is set to feature seated dining, only 200 tickets are available. Ticket pricing is set at $125 per person, or two people for $200. After April 15th, ticket pricing is set to increase to $150 per person, or 2 people for $275, according to district officials.

So far, the event’s lineup includes Chef Daniel Otto’s debut from his soon to open restaurant, Chef Lucio Teraza of Olive Terrace Bar and Grill, Chef Ignacio “Nacho” Munoz and Pastry Chef Kristina Waggoner of Salt Creek Grille, Chef Louis Pechan of Hundred Miles LA, the Culinary Team at Bonefish Grill, Chef Trevor of the Newhall Press Room, Chef Martin De La Cruz of Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Company, the baristas of Honu Coffee, the sweet makers from Nothing Bundt Cakes and the Beams of Sweat Beams Ice Cream, according to officials.
